The Photo From 1977
In 1977, the city of Zhongli in Taiwan was thrown into turmoil due to a chaotic election. Photographer Hsien-Ying met Taekwondo coach Kim Ho-hee from Korea amidst the confusion. Since Kim didn’t speak Chinese, they relied on their mutual friend Hong-Guo for translation, and the three quickly became close, often going out together for photography sessions.
